$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install onboard 

onboard is installed in your system.

Make ensure the onboard package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep onboard *

You will get with onboard package name, version, architecture and description in a table

onboard package basic information:
